In comparing and contrasting the DID Model with the NTeQ Model, I conclude that starting with the DID Model is more advantageous, as it facilitates“ big-picture” planning, includes learner characteristics and environment as elements to be considered, and offers more flexibility than the NTeQ MModel (because the purpose of the NTeQ Model is to specifically aid in designing a lesson plan for computer integration as a learning tool). Should one determine that computer integration is a learning strategy to be incorporated in the lesson, the NTeQ would serve nicely as a sub-design module within the “Technologies” module of the DID model.
